You walked with Eddie to the near corner of the room, where a white dress stood on display.
As well as his vintage suit, the dress had a Frankenstein appeal, but it was still impressive for a place like this and it gave it an odd glothic charm. You noticed the dress had some of the fabric of curtains, sheets and other spare pieces of whatever. But similar to the groom’s suit, it suffered from dried blood stains that tainted the once clean white material. Some of the blood patches looked fresh too.
You felt more hesitate and stiff as you looked it over, it filled you with worry and anxiety, and it made your stomach twist. You felt his palm press on your shoulder which almost made you jump. “I know it’s not much now, but I’ll have some adjustment and customizations. I know women love their dress all fancy and dazzling, especially on their special day~.” He hummed, a little too cheerfully saying that.
“It’s…” You said, a little nervously but he cut you off and spoke for you.
“Dreadful? I know, but I promise it’s nothing fend over. Nothing your dear ol’ Eddie can’t fix.” He said and ruffle your already messy hair alittle and leaned down a bit to kiss your cheek and it making you flinch a little. After, he walked pass you and to the dress, pulling it gently off the tailor dummy and hoisting it up with his hands and in front of your view.
“I want you to put it on darling, for necessary adjustments, of course.” He said, waiting for you to take it and wear the dirty rag of a dress.
Your stomach churn a little in disgust and you shakily grabbed the dress, trying to avoid touching any bloody patches. You now held the dress that was clearly a little too big for your smaller frame, the veil drape down further pass your toes. Eddie must’ve found it amusing, his smiling lips were perk up a little.
You looked at the dress, then look over the smiling man and back at your dress. You guess you had no choice and he was tapping his foot, becoming a little impatient with your hesitation. You grab the hilt of the dress and bought it up to your face but quickly stopped and looked away a little nervously, trying to use the dress to cover your embarrassed face.
“Umm, w-while I… Get changed, could you, um… Look away, perhaps…?” You stuttered and mumble quietly under your breath.
He laid the edge of his palm on his forhead. “Oh, darling, so sorry! How forgetful of me. Truly a modest women, such a good trait for a wife to have.” He said, tsking to himself lightly and turned a heel to face away with his back now turned to you.
You watch as he turned around and made sure he wasn’t looking. Was he really just going to simply just face away from you? It was the perfect opportunity to get away and out of this – but you nearly forgot; your bag. Without it, especially with no camcorder you were hopless to escape.
You sigh to yourself a little. You had no choice, you were stuck for the time being and you can’t see your bag anywhere in sight.
You raised the bottom of the dress to your face and dragged it over your head. You slipped through it easily due the larger size of the dress, it even nearly fell pass you. This was literally design for a man or someone more plus size than you.
You peek at Eddie again checking if he wasn’t looking. Assured to still find his back faced towards you, you started to take your dust and blood covered jumper off. You duck your arms out the sleeves and worm it off and threw it on a nearly table, next was your shirt and you started to become more hesitate with this. It now made you notice how cold it was too, the mountain’s air was really chilly and it flowed in this room.
You shivered a little and shuttered, but your fingers continue to tug on the band of your pants, watching the back of Eddie as you begun to lightly zip down your jeans and undo the button. You shimmy out of them, wiggling your hips alittle to loosen it downwards.
You quickly stepped out your pants and joined them with your jumper and shirt on the side table. You adjusted the large dress to your body as much as possible to cover up your figure, but it was a little loose on you. You felt like a child playing dress-up in their mother’s dress.
“Okay, finish…” You said a little shyly with slight shiver from the cold.
Soon as you spoke, Eddie turned back around and tried to stop a growing grin. You must’ve looked like an idiot, because even he was trying to battle a against smirking.
He stepped forward to you as you stood there and watch him as he came closer. He placed his hand behind your back to direct you further in the corner of the room, it had those tables all around the side with placed objects on them. Sewing pins and needles, spare fabric and more. It nearly felt like a real tailor’s work shop, but dirty and disgusting – oh, and in an asylum. That part was hard to ignore, especially with all the consent sounds of others roaming the building and other noises. But being with Eddie made the place feel more empty, infact you haven’t encountered anyone when he took you here. Did he really have such a brutal reputation with the other variants, even the point they would avoid him at all cost? Well he was chopping dicks off, only the more reason to stay on edge around him. Those gore memories of what he did to those poor men still hovered in your mind, making you cringe from the thought.
“On the stool now, I’m going to need you to be still.”
His calm voice bought you out your thoughts and back to the presence of the situation. You did as he asked and stood atop the footstool, even standing on this he was still taller than you.
He wasted no time and start to used a measuring tape. He begun to wrap it around your waist, making you nearly shift a little weirdly with both arms up as he took in your measurements. It was quiet between you both while he focus on his task.
You stood awkwardly there, still as ever while he continued doing his thing. You were zone out, minding yourself and when his tape wrap around your chest to measure your bust, it cause you to jolt a little from his intruding touch.
He stopped and chuckled, amused from your reaction.
“So sorry darling, I didn’t mean to startle you. I’m just taking your measurements.”
Eddie spoke, reassuring you. You had to take a deep inhale to calm down your racing heart, it was hard to stay relax, this place really made sure you were on edge.
“So… The dress is nice, how did you make it…?” You asked timidly, breaking the silence. You weren’t sure why you spoke but the quiet and this situation made your gut feel empty and constantly on alert, your anxiety of the worst was really getting to you and you need a distraction from it.
“My dear; Art is an creation, an expression and where ones imaginations wonder. I’ve only used what I could.” He replied, his eyes on his work but he was still completely focused on you.
You nodded, dropping your arms a little once he has lowered on a knee, now poking pins through ‘your’ dress. You fiddled your fingers together, thinking.
He stopped and furrowed his brows a little, when he paused you’ve noticed this and looked at him a little hesitantly. Oh no, was something wrong? You hope he wasn’t mad or triggered by something, dear god please don’t be mad.
“Is… Anything wrong, Eddie..?” You bit your tongue, wishing you could swallow back your words.
“No, no, this won’t work…” He muttered to himself and you started to become worried. What was wrong? Did he change his mind about you and plans to kill you now? You gulped at your thoughts.
That’s when he begun to untie your laces of your shoe, you panicked at first and nearly started to squirm, but you soon realise; oh, he was just taking off your shoes. Your heart calmed down a little, but it still made you bit your bottom lip a little unsure. You needed your shoes and especially in this place. Who knows what’s on the ground, what if you step on some old wood or a loose nail? You shutter at the thought.
“There, you look much more dainty now darling.” Eddie hummed to himself as he set your shoes aside the footstool.
Your bare feet now stood on the fabric of the stool, dusty and worn but comfy. There was even fluff coming out the cushion too were your toes were.
You were about to open your mouth but closed it, originally going to ask if it was really necessary for your shoes off but this man was determined to fit you as the perfect bride. You didn’t want to trigger something and he would’ve probably just shrugged your question off if he didn’t like it, it was like he was in his own little bubble of a make-shift world. So you didn’t bother, knowing it would’ve been futile.

How much time has gone by? Perhaps an hour or so, you weren’t sure and time felt like a long blank stare while eddie worked on the dress. Course only little of chatter has sparked between you, but that was about it you weren’t exactly the most eased with him for obvious reasons. You were gazing down at your feet in a blank stare as you just stood there, doing nothing as you waited for this dress to be finished. You huffed a bored breath as your eyes felt heavy, you just slept and you’re starting to feel tried? Maybe it was from Being stuck here and doing nothing, you knew it was bad to let your guard down but you couldn’t help it. Your mind drifted to what happen ever since you’ve been here; was that guy stilled tied to that beam? The half of you wanted to ask Eddie, but your other half that knew best told you not to worry about it… Mumble guy would be fine, right?
Your thoughts soon went to Miles, your friend. Your furrow your brows and groaned unknowingly from frustration. God dammit, why did he thought it would be a good idea and why did your stupid self have to agree to it? Well, it sounded good at the time and if you didn’t come you knew he would’ve went without you and that’ll make you a shitty friend to not go. Your groan turned into a upset whine as you started to drown in your thoughts and pity, you regretted coming here and you should’ve known best. You wanted to believe Miles was still searching outside for a way in, but you knew better. Being a determined man he probably got in before you and here you were, about to get married while he wondered around this hell hole alone. It’s not your fault, right? You knew this was out of your control but God dammit, you’ve fucked up and either you, and Miles were probably going to die in this shit fest. You brought your hands to your face and mumbled, trying not to ball your eyes out but you were failing as you felt hot tears wet your cheeks and palms. You were so angry and depressed that Eddie begun to take notice in your sudden change of mood,
“Darling, are you alright?” He asked so kindly and it only made you want to ball your eyes out more.
You had to quickly think of an excuse, no doubt he’ll be fond of the idea that your mind was on another man. You looked at him with wet eyes and quickly made your excuse,
“Yes, I’m just… Just so emotional by this, you know? Just the thought of getting married…” You lied though your teeth and it only made your stomach churn. “I’m just so… Happy.” Soon you couldn’t help it, your voiced cracked at the end of your sentence and now you were sobbing in your dirty palms.
You broke into a mess of sobs and tears, squeezing your eyes shut in your hands as you cried even harder. Eddie must’ve took it because he was now pulling you into a gentle, yet firm embrace. He rest his chin on the crook of your neck as he started to hush you. He was rocking you slightly in a gentle and comforting manner, rubbing his hand on your back.
“Shh, shh. Don’t cry.” He said thinking his words were helping you. “Just think; you’re living a fantasy becoming a reality, something every little girl dreams of when she becomes a woman.”
He rose your chin up so your now wet and soaked face was facing him, Eddie was looking at you with soft eyes and that same smile, but gentler now. You didn’t know if it dreaded your soul more or it strangely made your heart flutter but you only stare back at him, trying to stop your lips quivering.
How were you going to get out of this mess?
